Forrest Roderick Johns

With a heavy heart we announce that our father Forrest Roderick Johns passed away peacefully at home with his daughters on March 21, 2024. Forrest was born February 9, 1944, in St. Johns Newfoundland to Forrest Roderick Johns Sr. and Lavinia Jane Tucker. Rod was preceded in death by his loving wife, Michele Rae Johns, his parents and his brother, Russell.

Rod, as everyone calls him, loved photography, bowling and golf. Rod was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Forrest served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. He retired after 45 years with Allstate. If he was your insurance agent, you knew you were in Good Hands.

He leaves behind two daughters, Tamara Rae, and Danielle Rae, four granddaughters, Shaylene (Kyle), Jennifer (Aaron), Michele and Riley, and two great grandchildren Finn and Juniper all of California, two brothers, Earle (Mary) Johns of Georgia, and Frank (Marilou) Johns of Tennessee.
